Our
Projects
These projects are integral to our mission of tackling post-harvest losses and improving the livelihoods of smallholder farmers in Uganda. With the grant funds, we will be able to kickstart these initiatives and work toward our vision of a more food-secure and sustainable future.
Smallholder Farmer Training Program:
This project aims to provide training and capacity-building opportunities to smallholder farmers in Uganda. We will develop and deliver comprehensive training modules covering post-harvest handling, crop storage techniques, and best agricultural practices. The goal is to empower farmers with the knowledge and skills needed to reduce post-harvest losses and improve the quality of their crops.

Mobile Drying Units Deployment:
-
We plan to invest in the deployment of mobile drying units to key agricultural regions in Uganda. These units will provide smallholder farmers with access to efficient and weather-resistant drying facilities. By strategically locating these units, we aim to reach a broader community of farmers, reduce post-harvest losses, and enhance food security.

Quality Assurance and Monitoring:
-
This project focuses on ensuring the quality of dried crops and grains. We will establish a quality assurance system to monitor the condition of dried produce and implement feedback loops for continuous improvement. By maintaining high-quality standards, we can build trust among farmers, buyers, and consumers and contribute to reducing food waste.
